Happy Fall, y’all! My favorite seasons are upon us and with the year we have had so far, I am really hoping for a grand finish! Besides the cooler weather that fall and winter bring, it is also my favorite time of year for style. There are so many options for fall fashion and not to mention the variety of shoe styles such as flats, booties, boots, etc. My favorite way to style my fall layers is with my Tieks ballet flats. These flats are versatile, incredibly comfortable, and fit perfectly with my classy, work style.
Last year, I added the Metallic Gold Tieks flats to my collection and they are the perfect accessory for my fall wardrobe. Gold is such a great color year-round, but it is particularly fashionable for fall styles. My closet mainly consists of blues, whites, neutrals, and some greens—tones that are perfect for gold flats. If your wardrobe is a little more adventurous than mine or if gold isn’t for you, no worries! Tieks has a wide variety of colors and tones that you will love and will work perfectly with any fall outfit!

Today I am sharing a few simple ways of how I style my Tieks for fall. One of my favorite fall fashion trends is layering button up shirts, sweaters, vests, and/or jackets with a simple pair of jeans or skinny ankle pants. Tieks ballet flats look great with fall layering. Personally, I think these flats make any outfit preppy!
Outfit #1 – Casual/weekend outfit:
Layer a sweater, utility vest, and skinny jeans. Be sure to roll the jeans up a bit to your ankles. Finish the look with gold Tieks and head out to your favorite farmers market or pumpkin patch!

Outfit #2 – Work outfit with denim jacket:
Layer a striped long sleeve tee or turtleneck with a denim jacket. Pair this with some skinny ankle pants with autumnal hues (e.g., mustards, browns, dark reds and oranges). I think gold Tieks go well with outfits that have a “pop” in color because it sort of neutralizes the outfit. Usually, my rule of thumb is to have one piece of your outfit “pop” and complement other pieces of the outfit subtly.

Outfit #3 – Simple dress:
Sometimes, simplicity is key! Pair your Tieks with a plaid shift dress or a flowy, boho dress for another simple fall look. Complete the outfit with a quilted bag or hat!

Outfit #4 – Work outfit with sweater blazer:
One of my favorite outfits for fall is layering a turtleneck with a sweater blazer. I usually just pair this with denim jeans or a pair of ankle pants with autumnal hues.

I know I will be wearing my Tieks throughout all of fall to our leaf peeping trip in October, to pumpkin patches, apple orchards, and farmers markets. I can’t wait to continue sharing all the ways I style my favorite pair of flats throughout all of our fall adventures! Please share with me your favorite fall styles!
Cheers!

Great Tieks style! Fall is a great season for Tieks.

I LOVE Tieks, their timeless style, multitude of colors, quality leather, everything about them except something in the design that makes the heel too high on my foot and starts making a blister the minute I walk across the carpet! I’ve ordered three pairs hoping something will be different, but noooooo, it never is. Surely I’m not the only person with this reaction. What to do?

I’m sorry you’ve experienced this! Maybe reaching out to the experts at Tieks for advice?

If you buy mole skin from the drug store or super market you won’t have a blister ever again. You cut the moleskin into what size you need and Perl the back off and stick it where you get the blister and it will prevent them from coming. I never leave home without moleskin for my feet.
